BONDI BEACH. Possibly the most photographed beach in the area, crescent-shaped Bondi is more than a half-mile long. It's a great place for swimming, and it also has historical significance as the home of Olympic beach volleyball and the site of the first life-saving club in the world (founded in 1906). The beach also marks the beginning of the Bondi to Coogee cliff-top walk. In addition, you'll find plenty of cafes and restaurants along the beach.
